THE BLEND
Bower Palace hot chocolate is crafted in-house from our bean-to-bar chocolate, gently ground into a semi-fine blend that holds onto a natural texture.
We layer in hibiscus for a sense of care that feels restorative without being pronounced. Bourbon vanilla brings depth and softness, unfolding slowly both in the cup and in the space around it.
The result is a hot chocolate that feels considered and atmospheric.
THE PREPERATION
Bring your milk of choice to a gentle boil. Whisk in the blend until fully emulsified and smooth, then let it continue to cook on low heat until it lightly thickens and the chocolate fully opens.
Remove from the heat and allow it to cool slightly before serving; it will continue to develop a richer, silkier body as it settles.
For balance, use approximately 1 tablespoon of blend per 80 ml of milk.
HOT AND COLD
For an iced version, allow the chocolate to cool fully, then pour over ice. Add a small splash of milk if you like, to soften and round the finish.
